CT
had a hard start. She was the runt of the litter, but her
personality and intelligence far outweighed her size.
She was always
thinking and telling everybody what to do and how to do it, animal and
humans alike.
At
dinner she would try to trade a toy for my food. She would put her
toy on the table and push it closer and closer to my dish. I told
her no way was I going to trade my dinner for her toy, so she got her
bone and put it on the table and kept pushing it closer to my
dish.
With each push
she would look at me -- she thought it was a good trade! Every
time I cooked something in the oven she would run over and look in, you
would think that she was doing the cooking. I often called her
Julia Child.
